I was following the Motley Fool investment advisory's team visit to Greece these last few days (Tim Hanson, Joe Magyer and Nate Weisshaar) and after seeing their photos, it seems like we were almost walking the same path the other day. These guys made some good observations on Greece, and especially on how the news reports often sensationalize events, but again, there are some things that I'm not sure they've fully had the time to catch on to.
E.g. on how strong interest groups and lobbies often manage to blackmail their way through public policy without staging loud protests and riots... Too bad you can't leave comments in their site, except for the photo set. But maybe this is not just a Greek phenomenon and these guys probably have the experience to see through some things.
Why don't you follow me on twitter?
